In February 2025, the Baltic states finally disconnected from the Russia-backed energy system, BRELL, and joined Europe’s unified power grid. This major energy independence and security project was developed over 15 years by the transmission operators of Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Poland.
To mark this occasion, a dynamic symbol and logotype were created, emphasizing the synchronisation of the three Baltic states with the rest of Europe.
